Synopsis
Em Casa D’Amália is a television program that echoes the legendary evenings when Amália Rodrigues opened the doors of her home to personalities from the most diverse artistic fields.
Through intimate conversations, remarkable stories, and memorable performances, the spirit of the gatherings that the fado singer so gracefully cultivated is brought back to life. Premiered in 2019 to celebrate Amália’s centenary, it quickly became a phenomenon of popularity, remaining on air on RTP1 in prime time. The success of the format captivated Portuguese audiences, positioning the show as a ratings leader and earning the 2024 Portuguese Society of Authors Award for Best Entertainment Program. More than just a show, it is a living tribute to Amália’s legacy and to Portuguese culture.
The project now takes to the stage, in the same format, but as a Live Concert: Em Casa d’Amália – The Live Concert.
This session will feature a special lineup, bringing together on stage Paulo de Carvalho and Ricardo Ribeiro, two of the greatest names in Portuguese music who will perform exclusively on this date, alongside Marina Mota, Lenita Gentil, Jorge Fernando, André Amaro, Silvino Sardo, and José Manuel Neto, all invited by José Gonçalez.
