Rita Rocha presents her debut album "8 ou 80" at the Coliseu do Porto.

The young artist from Porto Alegre, just 19, released the first part of the album "8" in June of this year and will present the second chapter, "80," to the public by the end of the year. In March, she will perform the songs in a moving concert that will take the audience to the emotional poles of the album: While the 8 whispers, the 80 screams. Together, the two parts form a cohesive, honest, and generational work, which affirms Rita Rocha as one of the great revelations of contemporary Portuguese music.

One of the most proliferating voices on the Portuguese music scene, Rita Rocha's career is marked by dedication, originality, and undeniable talent. A singer and songwriter, she debuted in 2021 on The Voice Kids and released her debut single, now double platinum, "More or Less This," at just 14 years old. Prestigious stages and highlights followed, focusing on the songs Outros Planos (gold) and A Garota do 319, which gives her debut EP its title. In June of that year, she also debuted as a solo artist, with two sold-out shows at the Teatro Sá da Bandeira in Porto and at the Capitólio in Lisbon.

"8" was released in June of this year and reflects the quieter, more introspective side of adolescence, full of hesitation, desire, and self-discovery, which materializes in emotional and intelligent pop songs that speak to a Generation Z growing up in poles of emotion. The second chapter, "80," will be released at the end of the year and will show the other side of the same story: more impulsive, direct, and irreverent.

I'm nervous, but much more excited to show you what I've been up to these past few years. And to be able to do it at home, in my beautiful city of Porto.
What I want most is for it to be a moment of sharing. I want them to experience every possible emotion, from 8 to 80: to laugh, to cry, to dance, to jump, to scream.
