"I SEE LIGHT IN GREATER PROPORTION THAN I SEE DARKNESS" is the new album by Gilsons, the highly anticipated successor to "P'ra Gente Acordar".
"Minha Flor" and "Bem Me Quer" are the first previews of the new album. "Minha Flor" brings together three generations of the Veloso family in a historic collaboration. The track, composed in partnership with Arnaldo Antunes, features Caetano, Moreno, and Tom Veloso. On the other hand, "Bem Me Quer" revives the successful partnership with Narcizinho Santos, the same from "Várias Queixas".
Composed after the death of Preta Gil, Fran's mother, the new album carries a special emotional weight, having been part of a collective healing process. The production was handled by José Gil, who balanced traditional acoustic elements with electronic beats.
To promote this album, the Brazilian trio announced a world tour with a stop in Portugal for a show at the Coliseu do Porto on October 18, and which will also take them to Denmark, Germany, Spain, France, New Zealand, and Australia.
The Gilsons trio, composed of José, João, and Fran, will make 2026 a new chapter in their history.
