Susanna's Secret
A one-act opera by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, with a libretto by Enrico Golisciani. Premiered in 1909, this comedy tells the story of a misunderstanding between Count Gil and his young wife, Susanna. The count, tormented by the smell of tobacco in the house, suspects his wife is having a lover. However, Susanna's "secret" is actually her habit of smoking in secret. With a light and witty score that combines the lyricism of the Italian tradition with influences from verismo and operetta, this piece unfolds in a comical interplay of suspicion and reconciliation.

El Amor Brujo
This work by Manuel de Falla is inspired by the Andalusian gypsy tradition and tells the story of Candela, a young gypsy woman haunted by the jealous spirit of her deceased lover. To free herself from this supernatural presence and fully experience her new love with Carmelo, Candela and the community perform mystical rituals that culminate in the famous Danza ritual del fuego, one of the score's most iconic moments.
The music of El Amor Brujo stands out for its use of flamenco melodies and rhythms, making it one of the most representative works in the Spanish musical repertoire.
