Braga Youth Center Hosts the "III Vivências - University Songbook Festival
On November 7th and 8th, the Braga Youth Center will host the III Vivências - Festival Cancioneiro Universitário, organized by Literatuna - the University of Minho's Tuna de Letras (Language and Literature Tuna). The event aims to celebrate the culture and academic tradition of the University Cancioneiro and bring together the general public in an atmosphere filled with music and excitement throughout the city.
As in previous editions, Vivências will feature Tunas from all over the country and offer the community the opportunity to celebrate and participate in an event. Unlike the usual, it will bring together female, mixed, and male Tunas in the same competition.
Taking the stage as the tuna groups in competition are: Javardémica – Porto's Science Tuna Group, Quantunna – Mixed Tuna Group from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra, and TeSuna – Women's Tuna Group from the Porto School of Health.
On Friday night, November 7th, along with Tun'ao Minho – Women's Academic Tuna Group from the University of Minho, the festival's Serenadas will take place in a solemn evening that will light up downtown Braga.
Saturday night, November 8th, will also feature TMUM – Medicine Tuna Group from the University of Minho as an extra-competition group.
The big night of the show will take place in the Braga Youth Center Auditorium at 9 pm.
