Dilsinho is considered the biggest name in the new generation of pagode music. Born on Ilha do Governador, in Rio de Janeiro, he has a career spanning more than 10 years, with 9 albums released, over 3.7 billion views on YouTube, 13 million followers on social media and 8.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He started in music at the age of 13, alongside his cousin Daniel. In 2009, he created the group Para de Kaô, which lasted until 2012, and in 2014 he released his first solo album. Since then, he has built a career marked by hits such as Refém, Trovão, Péssimo Negócio, and Diferentão. He has recorded notable DVDs (Terra do Nunca, Open House), worked on charity projects during the pandemic (Garrafas e Bocas), and hosted the TVZ programme on Multishow. In 2022, he released the album JUNTOS with the group Sorriso Maroto. The Diferentão project, which began in 2022 and was consolidated in 2023, became the biggest of his career, surpassing 450 million streams and earning him a gold disc. That same year, he celebrated 10 years of his career and expanded to Portugal and Angola, where he sold out shows and recorded collaborations, such as Tu e Eu with David Carreira. In 2024, he presented the second part of the project, with the participation of artists from other musical genres, such as Ana Castela, Vitor Kley, and Mari Fernandez. The song Passada de Mão has already surpassed 136 million plays.
Another milestone was his performance at Rock in Rio Lisbon 2024, becoming the first pagode artist to step on that stage, where he paid tribute to Portugal and sang with the audience in unison. In 2025, he released Pagode do Diferentão 2, which has already surpassed 52.8 million streams on Spotify. He also recorded Leva Tudo with the duo Calema, which achieved great prominence in Portugal. Their friendship led him to perform at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, becoming the first Brazilian artist to sing on that iconic stage. Currently, Dilsinho continues to tour Brazil with the Digressão Diferentão and expand his presence in Portuguese-speaking countries, consolidating himself as one of the biggest names in contemporary pagode. In 2026, the singer will return to Portugal for a very special concerts in his own name: 29 March at the Coliseu Porto Ageas. This concert is supported by CIDADE FM.
