The Santo Tirso Municipal Sports Hall will host the 10th Elite Cup in Roller Hockey. The 2026 edition, the first official competition of the season, brings together the top eight teams from the most recent National Championship: SL Benfica, Sporting CP, FC Porto, OC Barcelos, HC Braga, AD Sanjoanense, UD Oliveirense and AD Valongo.
The Elite Cup programme also includes the participation of the four highest-ranked teams from the Women's Championship: SL Benfica, ACD Gulpilhares, Escola Livre de Azeméis and AD Sanjoanense, who will compete in the 5th Women's Elite Cup on 31 October and 1 November.
The tournament features many of the world's top players and continues to establish itself as a benchmark event on the sporting calendar.
