Considered a true breath of fresh air in the Portuguese indie rock scene, Cassete Pirata not only find their home on stage but also make it a party, having built a strong legion of fans wherever they go.
The band has already surpassed 1 million listens on Spotify and was part of the soundtrack of the RTP/Netflix series "Until Life Separates Us". In recent years, they have played over a hundred concerts, selling out multiple dates in Lisbon and Porto; they have performed at the Paredes de Coura Festival, the Queimas das Fitas in Coimbra and Braga; and have taken the stage at the Bons Sons Festival.
In 2024, the band released A Família, their third album of original songs, which was very well received, with sold-out venues throughout the country and cited as one of the "Best Albums of the Year" in the main national media.
In 2026, Cassete Pirata celebrates a decade since its first appearance on stage. As part of this celebration, the focus will be on creating a new album, before the big return to live shows at the end of the year.
